"There’s a new signing for the 2025 F1 season... us! We’re bringing the thrill of Formula 1 to LEGO fans of all ages, with builds featuring all teams on the grid – plus loads of exciting extra content! Drive back to this page for future thrill..."

Over the past few months, LEGO has hinted at future collaborations with Formula 1, promising exciting products for 2025. The latest buzz comes from Las Vegas, where LEGO has a significant presence at the Grand Prix, running November 22–24. Fan media outlet girlbricksalot has even shared glimpses of the iconic Las Vegas Sphere featuring virtual LEGO vehicles zooming around a racetrack, and they’re not just any vehicles—they appear to be unreleased Formula 1 sets.

The virtual cars showcased on the Sphere seem to depict Formula 1 designs that don’t match any existing LEGO sets, fuelling speculation that they are teasers for the upcoming 2025 line-up. If that’s true, LEGO fans can expect:

  • Eight-wide LEGO Speed Champions-style cars for intricate detailing.
  • Six-wide models for more compact builds.
  • DUPLO versions for younger F1 enthusiasts.

Three teams are rumoured to be part of this collaboration; Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull. Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team have collaborated with The LEGO Group on numerous occasions including LEGO 42171 Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance.

With the timer ticking down, the LEGO community is brimming with anticipation. Will LEGO officially unveil its Formula 1 collaboration during the Las Vegas Grand Prix? Or will this be the first in a series of teasers leading up to a full reveal in early 2025? One thing’s for sure: this partnership has the potential to redefine LEGO’s sports-themed sets.

As the Las Vegas Grand Prix approaches, LEGO fans should keep their eyes peeled for updates from LEGO and fan media alike. The reveal might just deliver the high-speed thrills we’ve been waiting for.
